PPB- Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)

The Continuing Education Program organized by the Center for Knowledge, Communication and Technology (PPKT) is a community service program in disseminating knowledge and skills regarding information technology. Our center focused mainly with IT skills training centers nationwide to train and upskill youth and working adults so that they are employable for the industries.

 

Members of the community such as school students, students from higher education Institution, civil and private servants and entrepreneurs, can join these courses offered at the nearest approved training centers. Those who registered in these approved training centers could register and attend trainings based on their choice of courses. The successful candidates will receive their certificates from USM-PPB upon completion. pibus leo.

Department of skills division DSD-MOHR (JPK)

Department of Skills Development (DSD), formerly known as the National Vocational Training Council (MLVK) is a Department under the Ministry of Human Resources which was established on 2 May 1989 through the restructuring of the National Training and Certification Craft Board (LLPPKK) established in 1971 The name MLVK was changed to JPK after the National Skills Development Act 2006 (Act 652) came into force on 1st September 2006.

To strengthen the purpose of its establishment, DSD was strengthened with the placement of the Center For Instructor and Advance Skill Training (CIAST) under the management of this Department and the establishment of six (6) regional offices by zone, namely JPK Central Region, JPK Southern Region, JPK Northern Region, JPK Eastern Region, JPK Sabah & Labuan Region, and JPK Sarawak Region.

JPK has also been accredited with two (2) ISO certifications namely MS ISO 9001:2015 and MS ISO/IEC 17024:2015

Human Resource Development FUND (HRDF)

The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) was established under the legal requirements of the Human Resources Development Act 1992 (currently known as the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act 2001). The HRDF is a pool of funds that consists of Human Resources Development levies collected from employers of the manufacturing and service sectors as listed in the First Schedule of the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad Act 2001 (liable registrants) as well as optional registrants.

In a simpler way to say, the HRDF was established with the aim of developing quality human capital and a world-class workforce in order for Malaysia to achieve a high-income economy based on knowledge and innovation. Training providers registered with HRDF are able to conduct approved training and help companies to claim their training fund.

Skills Development Fund Corporation (PTPK)

Skills Development Fund Corporation (Malay: Perbadanan Tabung Pembangunan Kemahiran) commonly known by the acronym PTPK is a Malaysian Statutory Body under the Ministry of Human Resources. PTPK was established in the year 2006 It is responsible for providing financial assistance in the form of loans to individuals such as school leavers, graduates and others who are interested in pursuing Malaysian Skills Certification (SKM), Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) and Malaysian Advanced Skills Diploma (DLKM) at Public or Private Skills Training Providers accredited by DSD.

Conditions for Loans Malaysian SKM training program for Level 1 to 3, DKM and DLKM for Level 4 to Level 5 and another program approved by PTPK the applicant is between 15 to 45 years who did not get financial assistance from any other agencies. PTPK approves and appoints TVET centers and offers loans to students as a financial assistance.
